Haysland Road

The Haysland Road Project was a complex, multi-disciplinary effort to design and deliver nearly two miles of roadway in south Huntsville. The corridor traverses sensitive wetlands, flood-prone areas, established neighborhoods, and the secure perimeter of Redstone Arsenal, including designated rocket blast zones. Our survey team provided boundary and topographic surveys, construction staking, and as-built surveys to support the project, ensuring accurate alignment, proper grading, and seamless coordination with civil and environmental requirements.

By balancing community needs, environmental protection, and regional connectivity, the resulting roadway strengthens mobility between The Parkway and Redstone Road while offering amenities such as pedestrian trails and an underpass. The project showcases forward-looking design that safeguards natural resources, respects surrounding neighborhoods, and delivers a functional, resilient transportation link for south Huntsville.
